    Job Description
    The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Providence College invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science, commencing Fall 2019.

    Essential Duties
    The position requires a commitment to undergraduate teaching (nine credit hours per semester), continuing scholarship, the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the college and community.

    Education and Experience Required
    Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in computer science from an accredited institution (or earn one by August 1, 2019). All specialties should apply but we are especially interested in data analytics and computer security.
